ACS Carpet Cleaning receives numerous frequently asked questions from our residential and commercial clients regarding our products, service schedule, and overall carpet maintenance. Is there anything I should do to prepare for carpet cleaning?
It’s a good idea to lightly vacuum debris from your carpet if you haven’t vacuumed within 3 days before your service. Next, remove any breakable items from tight corners and pick up all clutter, such as toys or clothing, from the carpeted area.
Do you move furniture?
For insurance purposes we do not. We only work around furniture. The customer should move all furniture in the area they want cleaned.
Am I required to be there or to leave while you clean my carpets?
It is up to you whether you want to stay, leave, or come and go as normal during the cleaning process. Let us know what you plan to do and ACS Carpet Cleaning can accommodate you.
How long will it take to clean my carpets?
Depending on the size of the home and/or rooms, it usually takes 2 to 3 hours for an entire home and 1 to 1.5 hours for one large room. Because we set aside a generous block of time for each appointment, please notify us 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel.
Can you remove any type of stain?
In most cases, yes, however, ink and dye stains may be impossible to remove. We will let you know if we cannot remove a stain and make additional recommendations according to the type and extent of the stain.
How long will it take for my carpeting to dry?
Depending on the size of the area, type of carpeting, and airflow, it will take 2 to 8 hours for the carpet to dry. In cold temperatures, turn on the furnace and fans; in warm weather, open the windows so air can blow through.
